10 Years of One Direction, You & Me Got a Whole lot of History

Image
Ten years of One Direction, My God! time flies so quickly especially when you're talking about good things. 20 years earlier no one would have thought that because of X-Factor the world will get it's the biggest Boy-Band after The Beatles. I have never heard any songs of the Beatles, thus unaware of the craziness around that band. For me, the definition of boy-band fandom is One Direction. These 5 boys are the cutest, most handsome, charming, funniest, and above all the source of happiness for millions of people around the world.  In 2013, when I first got introduced by 1D, their existence had already been for 3 years, and I was like where I have been this whole time and why haven't I heard of them before. I don't think there are any adequate words to describe the love I have for these 5 boys. I have so many memories with them. There were times when I was feeling low and by just listening to there music or watching the videos I have felt better. They have put a smile on...

ELITE Season 4, Excited to what's Next

Apart from Money Heist, another Spanish series has traveled boarders and built popularity among non-Spanish speakers.  I have came across ELITE, a teen drama thriller series, after binge watching Money Heist. My adrenaline for Spanish series was out of the roof when I googled for more brilliant thriller series. The first result that pooped up was ELITE. I was not expecting much because I didn't want to be disappointed. I didn't thought anything would be as mind blowing as Money Heist. Although, this show proved me wrong. And for me that was Mina El Hammani who played the character of a Muslim girl named Nadia. I certainly have some issues with her character as well but, still the way the writer have build her character throughout the 3 seasons was cleaver.   Basically, the series revolve around how a clash between n...

Bay Yanlis (Mr. Wrong): Series Review

Okay, So First of all I have to make a serious confession here. I used to believe that We as Pakistani citizens should not watch Turkish series. I know at first this statement might struck you as prejudice but let me explain myself before you make any not-so-good conclusion about me. I am a highly patriotic person. The initial exposure of Turkish series I had was when a drama called Ask-i-Memnu (Forbidden Love) broadcast in Pakistan. The drama was a major hit and effected the Pakistani drama industry a little. I had few issue with the plot and thought it was not a suitable drama to show in Pakistan. Although, the foremost problem I had was "why people are watching that show instead of supporting our local content".  Disregards to my disliking, the show ended with the huge popularity of Turkish series and actors among Pakistani audience. Honestly speaking, young girls went crazy for Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ who played the lead role in the show. I literally didn't understood the fan...
