Jungkook becomes the first K-Pop male soloist to have over 1 billion on-demand streams in this decade

K-Pop fans around the world are celebrating a major milestone for one of the genre’s biggest stars – BTS’ Jeon Jungkook has become the first K-Pop male soloist to hit 1 billion on-demand streams this decade.

The feat was achieved with his collaboration song with Charlie Puth titled “Left and Right.” The track was released last year and has been streamed more than 1 billion times on various streaming platforms. This marks the first time a K-Pop male soloist has achieved such a feat this decade without any official album.

The track, which was co-written by Jacob Kasher Hindlin and Charlie Puth, has gained immense popularity since its release. It has become a fan favourite, with many fans taking to social media to share their love for the track and their admiration for Jungkook’s ability to collaborate with the renowned singer/songwriter. It is the second time Charlie and Jungkook has shared the screen after their performance on "We Don't Talk Anymore" at the Genie Music Award 2018.

The success of “Left and Right” is yet another example of BTS’s immense global success. The group has achieved multiple milestones over the past few years, including becoming the first K-Pop group to be nominated for a Grammy Award.

This latest feat by Jungkook is yet another testament to the group’s global domination and their ability to reach and influence audiences all over the world. With “Left and Right” and other tracks, BTS has firmly cemented itself as one of the biggest names in K-Pop and has shown that K-Pop music can reach a global audience.

We can’t wait to see what other milestones BTS will achieve in the years to come. Congratulations to Jungkook and BTS on this incredible achievement!
